30-60 minutes
ingredients
SAUCE
20 frozen pre-cooked meatballs
2 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 jar (14 ounce size) mild salsa
1 cup season mix (chopped onions, green and red peppers)
2 tablespoons kitchen bouquet
1 tablespoon instant beef bouillon
1 tablespoon instant French onion bouillon
PASTA
1 pound spaghetti or noodles
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Thaw out meatballs. Mix together all remaining ingredients in a microwavable bowl. Add the meatballs and cook in microwave on half power for 15 minutes, then full power for 10 more minutes.
For Pasta: Season the water in which you are going to boil the pasta with all the seasonings listed. Add pasta and cook for approximately 10 minutes or until done. Drain.
To serve, place individual servings of pasta on dinner plates, then scoop on some meatballs followed by the sauce. Top with grated cheddar cheese if wanted (cheese will automatically melt on top of hot pasta).

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
