Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar - packed
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon brandy or orange juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
nonstick spray coating
4 bananas - peeled halved crosswise quartered lengthwise
1/4 cup pecan halves or almonds
vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt

Directions:

In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, brandy and spices.

Heat and stir till combined. Keep warm. Spray an 8x8x2-inch baking dish with nonstick coating. Add bananas and pecans. Top with the spiced sauce. Bake, uncovered, in a 350º oven 12 to 15 minutes or till heated through. Or microcook, covered, on 100% power (high) 3 minutes, stirring gently once. Serve warm with ice cream or frozen yogurt, if you like.
