A perfectly cooked, tender beef patty is topped with a homemade BBQ sauce to copy these famous Bar-B-Que hamburgers from Harrah's.
1 1/2 pound ground beef (extra lean)
3/4 cup rolled oats
3 tablespoons finely minced onion
1 cup milk
salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce
2 cups ketchup
6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup water
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Combine the ground beef, oats, onion, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently but thoroughly. Form the meat into 1/4-pound patties. Place the patties in a single layer in a baking dish.
Combine the ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and water in a bowl. Mix until the sugar dissolves. Pour the sauce evenly over the burger patties.
Place the burgers in the oven and bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour uncovered, or until the burgers are cooked through.
Serve the burgers on hamburger buns with any desired condiments and toppings.
