ingredients
1 loaf baguette
3 ounces fresh Mozzarella cheese
3 Roma tomatoes
6 slices Italian prosciutto
2 ounces extra virgin olive oil
4 leaves fresh basil
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Slice the baguette and place pieces on a baking sheet. Layer 1 slice of prosciutto, a slice of fresh mozzarella, and a slice of tomato on top of each piece of bread.
Bake at 375 degrees F for about 8 minutes or until the bread becomes toasted and the ingredients are warmed.
Place appetizers on a serving plate, drizzle olive oil over the top, add salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh basil. Serve warm.
