A side salad is crucial for a big family-style Italian affair of lasagna or chicken parm and this copycat recipe makes a proper creamy Italian dressing.

ingredients

1 quart mayonnaise
1 quart buttermilk
1 tablespoon accent (MSG)
3/4 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
3/4 tablespoon onion salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon granulated garlic
1/4 cup dried minced onion

directions

Combine all the ingredients in a container with a lid. Mix well. Cover the container and refrigerate for 6-8 hours before using. Stir before using.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
