Creamed Hominy

ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 can hominy
2 tablespoons water
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup evaporated milk or cream
directions
Melt butter and add drained hominy, water, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until thoroughly heated; stirring constantly.
Add cream and continue to cook a few minutes until slightly thickened.
