The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

2 swordfish steaks (8 ounce size)
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon fresh garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 small onions, diced
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Combine all ingredients except for the swordfish in a bowl. Mix Well. Add swordfish to marinade. Coat swordfish steaks well. Let marinate for 1 hour.
Grill steaks on high for 4 minutes on each side or until firm to the touch. Don't overcook, as the swordfish will get dry.
