Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Pour into greased 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch loaf pans. Bake in 350 degree F oven 50 to 60 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn onto wire racks to complete cooling and spread with Orange Cream Cheese Spread.
