Mary's Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:
***CRUST***
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
32 ounces cream cheese, softened
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, melted and cooled
1 1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 eggs
***TOPPING***
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Melt butter and crumbs and press in the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan. Use electric mixer to beat the cream cheese, chocolate, sugar, flour and vanilla till well blended. Beat at high speed till smooth. Add eggs one at a time till well mixed; pour into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven 500F for 10 minutes then reduce oven to 250F and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Remove and let cool 10 minutes.
Prepare topping and pour over cake; bake 5 minutes longer. Cool the cake on a wire rack for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Refrigerate until firm, 8 hours or overnight.
