ingredients
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
1/2 cup thin cream
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
directions
Cook all ingredients (except nuts) to softball stage (236 degrees F on candy thermometer).
Cool, then beat until creamy, then add nuts. You may also tint the candy light green.
Poor into an 8x8-inch pan to harden. Cut into small squares.
