Snowy Mashed Potato Casserole

ingredients
4 pounds potatoes
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 cup chives (optional)
1/2 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons butter
directions
Cook potatoes until tender. Mash, add cream cheese, sour cream, 2 tablespoons butter, salt, pepper and garlic; beat until smooth and light. Stir in chives (optional).
Spoon into greased 10 cup baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika, dot with 1 tablespoon butter.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until lightly golden and heated through.
