Slow Cooker Venetian Beef

ingredients

2 pounds round or chuck steak, cut into chunks
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 tablespoon dried oregano
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar
1 can (16 ounce size) Italian tomatoes, drained

directions

Place the beef in the bottom of the crock pot.

Sprinkle the meat with the soup mix, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and vinegar. Pour the tomatoes over the top.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours. Stir well before serving and adjust the seasoning as needed.
