The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

12 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
1 tablespoon margarine, melted
3 packages (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 eggs
8 chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Mix together crushed cookies and margarine in small bowl. Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake 10 minutes.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla in large mixing bowl at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in chopped cookies. Pour over crust.
Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
Loosen cake from rim of pan. Cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
Garnish with thawed whipped topping, chocolate sandwich cookies, cut in half and mint leaves, if desired.
