- add review
- #40929

ingredients
10 whole graham crackers, broken into pieces
1 1/4 cup pecans
1/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
FILLING
24 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/3 cup Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ounces imported white chocolate, broken into bits
TOPPING
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 ounce imported white chocolate, grated
24 pecan halves
directions
Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly butter 9" diameter springform pan with 2-3/4 inch high sides.
Finely grind graham crackers, pecans and sugar in processor. Add butter and blend, using on/off turns. Press crumbs onto bottom and 2 inches up sides of prepared pan. Refrigerate at least 20 minutes.
Using electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until smooth. Whisk eggs, Bailey's and vanilla in medium bowl until just blended. Beat egg mixture into cream cheese mixture.
Finely chop white chocolate in processor using on/off turns. Add to cream cheese mixture.
Transfer filling to crust-lined pan. Bake until edges of filling are puffed and dry looking and center is just set, about 50 minutes. Cool on rack.
For Topping: Mix sour cream and powdered sugar in small bowl. Spread topping onto cooled cake.
Refrigerate until well chilled, about 6 hours. Sprinkle grated chocolate over cake. Place pecan halves around edge and serve.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

This is a really great cheesecake. The crust is amazing. I was a little surprised that the Bailey's wasn't that strong tasting but this one received rave reviews and I will absolutely be making many more times.

This isn't the Bailey's recipe I remember from this site-it had chocolate chips, and a mocha topping. Does any one still have that recipe?

the only problem i have with this recipe is tha quantity of people u say it can seve, it is impossible for this to serve 10 dozen people, that is the only thing that needs to be changed on it, other than that its a good recipe, almost exactly like the one i use for my business
