1 box (18.25 ounce size) yellow cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare
1 package (3 ounce size) vanilla pudding mix
1 can (21 ounce size) cherry pie filling

directions

Bake cake as directed on package for a 2 layer cake. Cool completely.

Prepare pudding as directed on package and chill. Spread pudding between cake layers. Top cake with cherry pie filling. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
