2 pounds lean stewing beef, cut in 1 1/2" cubes
1 onion, sliced
3 tomatoes, quartered
3 green bell peppers, chopped
1 1/2 bay leaves
1 pinch thyme
salt and pepper
vegetables to taste
directions
Soak lid. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, place in clay baker. Cover and put into cold oven. Set the temp to 425 degrees F and bake for 80 minutes.
