Pizza night is always a favorite, especially when you have great tasting pizza from some of the most popular restaurants.

Curried veggies make for a spectacular spicy side dish. Potatoes and cauliflower get spiced with ginger, garlic, and garam masala for that magical blend of Indian flavors.
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 piece (1 inch size) ginger root
3 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup water
1 tomato, diced
1 teaspoon garam masala
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 head cauliflower, cut in florets
1 cup frozen peas, optional
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add the potatoes to the skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, until the spices coat the potatoes and the mixture is starting to look dry.
Add the turmeric and chili powder and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the water, tomatoes, garam masala, and coriander. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the cauliflower and peas. Increase the heat to high for 1 minute then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover the skillet and let the potatoes and cauliflower simmer for 15 minutes or until most of the liquid has been cooked off.
Serve hot.

Very good recipe, have made more then once & that is something, unfortunately, I rarely do with recipes I fish off the net!
The recipe forgot to use two ingredients, the Garam Masala and Coriander powder! I guess those two spices go in with the others?
They are mentioned in the directions (they are added with the tomatoes)

Great recipe!! I also added slivered onions before the first 'bhoona'. Cut one small onion into slices and add. Salt, to taste.

Two things kept this recipe from getting a 5 rating. First, the dish needs salt! Salt liberally at the point of adding the potatoes. Second, the cooking time at the end is not long enough. I would double the time. Otherwise the dish is great.
