1 tablespoon pickling spice
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 pound fresh button mushrooms
directions
Tie pickling spice in cheesecloth bag.
Place bag with remaining ingredients in medium saucepan and bring mixture to boil. As soon as liquid boils, remove from heat.
Chill mushrooms in brine.
