If you like boozing up your lemonade, you're gonna love this drink. Tequila and triple sec with a hint of lime make for an easy to drink margarita.
48 ounces lemonade
3 cups ice
3 shots tequila
2 shots triple sec
1 splash lime juice
Combine the lemonade, ice, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice in a blender. Process until smooth.
Rim margarita glasses with salt and carefully pour the margarita mixture in each glass. Serve with wedges of citrus, if desired.
Use pink lemonade instead of regular lemonade for a pretty pink margarita.
For a different flavor, try using flavored lemonade or adding other fruit juices like orange or cranberry.
Adjust the sweetness of the drink by adding a simple syrup or agave nectar to taste.
Experiment with different types of salt for the rim, such as sea salt or flavored salts for a unique twist.
To make a spicy margarita, muddle jalapenos or add a dash of hot sauce to the mixture before blending.
Garnish with fresh herbs like mint or basil for a refreshing herbal aroma.
Try adding a splash of sparkling wine or champagne for a bubbly twist on the classic margarita.
For lemonade margaritas, you can use any type of tequila you prefer. Silver or blanco tequila works well for a clean flavor, while reposado or anejo tequila can add a smoother, aged taste.
You can make a large batch of the margarita mixture ahead of time and keep it refrigerated until ready to serve. Just blend it again before pouring into glasses, as it may separate.
If you don't have a blender, you can mix all the ingredients except the ice and serve the drink over ice (on the rocks) in individual glasses.
To make a salt rim, rub a wedge of citrus (like lime or lemon) around the rim of the glass, then dip the rim into a shallow dish of salt to coat it evenly.
Blender: For mixing the lemonade, ice, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice together to create a smooth margarita mixture.
Cocktail Shaker (optional): If you prefer your margarita shaken, not blended, a cocktail shaker can be used instead of a blender for mixing the drink.
Citrus Juicer: For squeezing fresh lime juice for that extra burst of flavor in your margarita.
Margarita Glasses: Specifically designed for serving margaritas, these glasses usually have a wide rim perfect for holding salt or sugar if rimming the glass.
Nachos: Enjoy these refreshing margaritas with a plate of loaded nachos. The tangy citrus flavors will cut through the richness of the cheesy nachos for a perfect balance of flavors.
Spicy Tacos: These zesty margaritas will add a refreshing kick to your spicy taco night. The tangy citrus flavors will help balance out the heat of the tacos.
Fresh Seafood: Pairing these zesty margaritas with fresh seafood is like a match made in culinary heaven. The bright flavors of the margaritas will complement the delicate flavors of the seafood.
Backyard BBQ: Serve up these lemony margs at your next backyard BBQ for a fun and festive drink option. The tequila and lime juice will add a burst of flavor to your BBQ spread, making it a hit with your guests.

This really just tasted like lemonade which made them way too easy to drink! Good though and probably good for those who don't like normal margaritas.
