Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie With Chocolate Topping

ingredients
1 (9" size) graham cracker pie crust
1 package (8 ounce size) softened cream cheese, light or regular
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
TOPPING
4 ounces semisweet chocolate
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons salad oil
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
directions
Whip cream cheese until fluffy. Slowly add sugar, peanut butter and butter.
In another bowl, whip cream and vanilla until firm. Blend 1/3 of whipped cream into peanut butter mixture. Fold peanut butter mixture into remaining whipped cream until thoroughly incorporated. Fill pie crust, smoothing top. Chill.
Combine chocolate, butter and oil in top of double boiler until chocolate melts. Cool slightly. Spread chocolate on cooled peanut butter filling. Start at center and work out. Sprinkle top with peanuts, chill pie thoroughly.

My daughter made this for company with rave reviews! They couldn't stop talking about it! We made one change, and that was instead of a graham cracker crust,she used Oreo cookies.

This pie is super easy and even simple to make as a non dairy desert. I substituted tofu cream cheese and non dairy creamer and it came out amazing!
