CAKE

1 package (18.25 ounce size) yellow cake mix, without pudding added
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 packages (3.5 ounce size) instant vanilla pudding mix
4 large eggs
3/4 cup peach schnapps
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon orange extract

GLAZE

4 tablespoons peach schnapps
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 cup powdered sugar

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 1/2" Bundt pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, pudding, eggs, schnapps, orange juice and orange extract. Beat for 2 minutes with electric mixer.

Pour batter into Bundt pan and bake 50 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Remove from oven and prepare topping while cake is hot. Mix topping ingredients well.

Using a small skewer, poke holes into the cake and pour topping over the hot cake. Allow to cool at least 2 1/2 hours. Invert cake onto serving plate and serve.

Excellent! A friend brought it to a get together yesterday and we all liked it so much. I liked it so much I got some peach schnapps on the way home and will make it today.

This 'semi-homemade' cake is super simple to make and is absolutely fabulous. Moist, flavorful, and makes a nice presentation. Had a dinner party and served this to guest. It was a huge hit!! Have made several times and it never disappoints.

I took this to a baby shower and everyone loved it.

My friend used to make this recipe years ago. She unfortunately lost the recipe. Well when her birthday came up, I found this recipe and made the cake for her. This is the exact recipe she used to make. We both had thought all hope was lost on ever making this cake again, until I found it on cdkitchen.com. There were about 20 people at the party and everyone could not keep their hands away from the cake. Literally!! No one used forks or plates. Just hands and shoveled it into their mouths. This cake is amazingly moist and SO GOOD! It is a sin how good it is! 20 people came to the party and 20 people asked for the recipe. Bring this to your next party and people will be praising you for such a wonderful treat!

Something is wrong with the directions or the ingredients. It looks like a great cake but something is amiss.
