Tomato Pesto Pita Pizzas Recipe

Ingredients:
4 round pita pockets (7- to 8-inch size), plain or whole wheat
6 tablespoons ready-made pesto sauce
1 cup shredded fresh mozzarella cheese
4 ripe plum tomatoes, sliced
4 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Heat the oven to 400 F. Place the pita breads on a large baking sheet. Spread 1-1/2 tablespoons of pesto sauce over each pita. Top each with 1/4 cup of shredded cheese, 1 sliced tomato, and 1 teaspoon of Parmesan.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until heated through. Serve warm.
