This is a great snack or appetizer. The pizza crust is made from refrigerated crescent roll dough. It's topped with a sauce of cream cheese, mayo, and ranch salad dressing mix. From there the possibilities are endless as you can top it with your favorite veggies like broccoli, bell pepper, cauliflower, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, etc.
2 packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 packages (8 ounce size) cream cheese
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 package ranch salad dressing mix
6 cups assorted chopped vegetables*
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Press the crescent roll dough in a large greased jelly roll pan, sealing all perforations. Bake as directed, about 10 minutes.
Combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise and dressing mix and beat until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture on the cooled crust and sprinkle the chopped vegetables and cheese over entire crust. Chill and serve!
*Suggested vegetables: broccoli, carrots, red, green, yellow pepper, red onion, cauliflower, radishes, firm tomatoes, olives, zucchini, mushrooms, green onions.

the original recipe calls just for 1-8oz ..use the crescent sheets now available and it is a lot easier..cauliflower or what ever you want..def. need more that 1/2 cup..should be spread out on a cookie sheet

I made this recipe for a brunch shower and it is very good. Everyone wanted the recipe. I used shredded carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and radishes. (a food processor mades this task very easy) A little shredded cheese on top finishes it off.
My mother passed this recipe on to me years ago. Her recipe is great and only calls for 8 oz. of cream cheese. Just made it recently and people raved about it. I use broccoli (chopped fine), shredded carrots and finely grated sharp cheddar cheese on mine.

This was really good& I would make this again but I found it was way too much cream cheese mixture so it made it heavy & soggy after a bit, half would be perfect though!Makes enough for a crowd if you cut it up in little squares & it's versatile so use whatever veggies you like or have on hand. You could also probably just use flavoured cream cheese(chive, herbs)instead of using the dry ranch mix.& sour cream insyead of mayo if you prefer.
