ingredients
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter
4 1/2 tablespoons cream
1 1/2 tablespoon flour
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 cup whole milk
1 pre-baked 9-inch pie crust
meringue topping, if desired
directions
Cook the brown sugar, butter, and cream in iron skillet for 5 minutes.
Mix together the flour, egg yolks and milk and pour into skillet mixture. Cook until thickened. Pour into pie crust.
NOTE: Use the leftover egg whites for meringue for topping.

The one and only way to make butterscotch cream pie. had this receipe from my mom in law, but lost it, so so glad to find it again. if you had more stars i would give it a 10
