Yummmmm!! This is a very good recipe. Family loves it and will definitely be added to my family recipe book. I had no problems at all with this recipe and it turned out wonderful, the smell while cooking was fantastic! Definitely a cake for those wanting something sweet! Add ice cream while hot for a real treat.... When the cake was done baking I allowed it to set for 10 mins then turned the pan over onto a serving tray. Looks wonderful served this way....Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge to keep them fresh longer. Microwaves well for reheating. Freezes very well. As far as clean up goes, I only had 2 bowls, 1 pot for heating, a pan for baking and utensils I used. I can see perhaps with a beginner cook the format could use a little improving for some. Perhaps, list ingredients as follows.. Sauce- 1/3 Cup brown sugar 2 TBLS water prepare sauce then add peaches Cake-- 1 Cup flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 Cup milk 1 TBLS butter 2 eggs 1/2 Cup sugar 1/2 Cup brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract Then list the directions in 1, 2, 3 format instead of paragraphs.

Recipe was very confusing! Butter listed twice and brown sugar listed twice. It also took too many different pans to make this, so clean up isn't easy.
The butter and brown sugar are listed twice because they are used in separate steps of the recipe.
