2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
directions
Combine all the ingredients and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 6 months.

We love it. Only change we make is about 1/2 the salt and a TS more cayenne pepper.

for ribs add 2 TBS dark brown sugar, cut back on cayenne pepper

This is very good. Just wanted to add a little tip - use popcorn salt - it's a finer, almost powdery salt and blends better - but use about one fourth to one third less (a matter of preference) since it compacts much more, otherwise it will come out too salty.

Actually the real Emeril's Essence does NOT contain Rosemary.
