Serves/Makes:   1 loaf

  

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup sourdough starter
1/2 cup water (75-85 degrees F or what is required by your machine)
4 1/2 teaspoons melted butter
1/2 cup barley flour mixed with
1 tablespoon gluten in bottom of cup
3/4 cup med rye flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon dry milk powder
3 teaspoons caraway seeds
3 teaspoons dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons yeast

Directions:

Add ingredients to bread pan, according to manufacturer's directions.

Use regular cycle, medium crust.

Cook's Note: If you like the flavor of caraway seeds but not the seeds, use a coffee bean grinder or spice mill and grind them first before adding to dough.
