ingredients

3 teaspoons butter
1 pinch cinnamon, to taste
3 pounds lamb leg
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pinch pepper, to taste
2 pinches salt, to taste
2 pinches sugar, to taste
4 medium tomatoes, ripe

directions

Cut the lamb in portions.

Simmer the onion in a frying pan. Add the butter and brown lightly. Grate the tomatoes, (remove the seeds if possible) and add to frying pan along with the cinnamon, sugar, salt and pepper and a little water.

Add the lamb and simmer for 1 1/2 hours (or cook on low in the slow cooker for 10 hours).
