Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

THis only has a hint of orange so if you are worried about it being too orangy don't be. It's a lovely combination of flavors. I use a vanilla coffee creamer and it's so delicious and a lovely way to start the day.

This coffee is great! If you let it sit for a few days, the flavor and aroma are really enhanced. If you can't find dried orange peel, just use your veggie peeler. Lay the strips out on a plate to dry for a few days. Be sure to get just the peel and not the pith. Enjoy!
