1-2 hrs
ingredients
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
Batter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1 jar crunchy peanut butter
1 giant-size chocolate bar (or use chocolate chips in place of)
directions
Put milk and butter in sauce pan, scald and set aside. Mix eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla, and salt together in a large bowl. Stir in scalded milk.
Pour on a well greased and floured cookie sheet with edges. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. As soon as it is out of the oven, spread peanut butter on top of it. Let it cool.
When it has completely cooled, melt the chocolate candy bar or chocolate chips in the microwave oven at 50% power about a minute and a half or until soft enough to stir.
Spread on top of the cake. Set in refrigerator to set up the chocolate. Leave it in the fridge until ready to eat because the chocolate tends to melt.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
