Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

ingredients
1 pound medium or hot Italian sausage, browned and drained
1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
8 ounces ranch salad dressing
1 small can sliced black olives, well drained
1 medium red bell pepper, diced
1 package won ton wrappers
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Brown sausage well, drain. Cool. Stir in all other ingredients, except won ton wrappers.
Spray a muffin pan well with vegetable oil. Place one won ton wrapper in each cup to fit sides. Bake for 7-9 minutes, until they start to turn golden brown.
Remove from oven, and while wrappers are hot, put one tablespoon filling in each. Return to oven until cheeses melt, about 7-8 more minutes.

I found with the won ton's they were like eating paper so I put some mixture in a flour tortilla and rolled it up and sliced it and everyone loved it. That's how I serve them all of the time now.
