Diabetic Sausage-Cheese Balls

ingredients
1/2 pound turkey breakfast sausage
1 cup shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 1/4 cup low-fat baking mix (such as reduced-fat Bisquick)
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine sausage, cheese, parsley, and pepper in a medium bowl, stirring well. Add baking mix, and mix well.
Coat a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Shape meat mixture into 1-inch balls; place balls on baking sheet and lightly coat with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
