Great recipe! I used grape tomatoes instead of regular because I had so many from my garden and you do not have to peel them. I also roasted a variety of peppers but then followed your recipe to a tee after that. The house smells wonderful and they will make great gifts! Can't wait to put some of this on a hot dog or serve with fresh Italian bread! Thanks!

This is a delicious relish like my mother used to make. She used brown sugar. Some people like it sweeter than others. So sweeten to your liking. Serve on toast or on eggs. It is good with crackers or by it's self. Thank you to the author of this, I hadn't had it in years and Mom didn't write it down.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
