2 1/2 cups biscuit baking mix
1 pound raw bulk breakfast sausage, hot or mild
1 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
OR
2 tablespoons fresh minced onion
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 medium apples, finely chopped
directions
Combine all ingredients and knead until well blended. Form into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned. Turn after 10 minutes.
