This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

A mixture of cream cheese and green onions is tucked inside crescent roll dough. The entire roll is wrapped in a slice of bacon and baked until done.
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1 package (8 count size) refrigerated crescent rolls
8 slices raw bacon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Combine the cream cheese and green onions in a bowl. Mix well.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the dough into triangles. Cut each triangle in half. Cut each slice of bacon in half.
Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each triangle half. Roll the dough around the filling (like a crescent roll) and seal the edges.
Wrap one half-slice of bacon around each roll and secure with a toothpick.
Place the filled rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and the dough is cooked.
Place the hors d'oeuvres on paper toweling to drain. Serve warm.

This is a can't miss recipe. As you might expect, each hors d'oeuvre was two bites of flaky goodness and, well, bacon! And they're easy to make, too. If you serve these at your party, they will be among the first items to disappear, for sure.

You can't go wrong with bacon wrapped appetizers! These are really easy to make and totally addicting. I was worried that the bacon was going to take longer to cook than the crescent dough but it didn't get overdone and the bacon was perfect. You could make the filling ahead of time.
