ingredients
2 quarts popped popcorn
1 1/2 cup pecans
2/3 cup almonds
1 1/3 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
directions
Pop corn and mix with nuts on cookie sheets.
Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup in a 1-1/2 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Continue cooking and stir occasionally for 10-15 minutes or until mixture turns light caramel color.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over corn and nut mixture and mix rapidly.
