Christmas Caramel Popcorn

ingredients
6 quarts popped popcorn
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 package candy coated chocolate candy pieces
directions
In saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and baking soda.
In large roasting pan, combine popcorn, candy coated chocolate candy pieces and sauce mixture. Toss until completely coated.
Place in 200 degrees F oven for 20 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then stir gently. Remove from oven and let cool completely on baking sheets.
