It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Pear Salad and Jello

ingredients
1 large package lime Jello
1 can (2.5 pound size) pears, reserving liquid
1 package (6 ounce size) softened cream cheese
2 tablespoons cream
1 small bottle maraschino cherries
directions
Cook Jello according to package directions, substituting 1/2 cup liquid from pears for 1/2 cup water. Refrigerate until partially set.
Combine cream cheese and cream. Mix until smooth. Stuff each pear with cream cheese mixture.
Place a thin layer of Jello in bottom of a rectangular glass dish. Place stuffed pear halves in Jello. Place a cherry in center of each.
Pour remaining Jello over pears and refrigerate until firm. Serve on lettuce.
