4 teaspoons Thousand Island salad dressing
8 slices rye bread
8 ounces cooked turkey, thinly sliced
1 1/3 cup sauerkraut, drained
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices tomato, optional
directions
Spread 1 teaspoon dressing on half of the slices of rye bread. Divide the sliced turkey among tops of the bread slices. Spoon 1/3 cup sauerkraut on each sandwich; top with Swiss cheese and tomato; top with remaining bread.

Definitely not enough of the thousand island dressing. Should be more like one tablespoon per slice of bread. I also like to pile my sandwiches a bit higher so I use more cheese and more turkey. The amount of sauerkraut was about right though.
