ingredients
4 medium tomatoes
3/4 pound lean finely ground beef
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
directions
Remove stem ends of tomatoes; scoop out some of the pulp and drain tomatoes.
Combine beef, tomato pulp, and seasonings and stuff tomato shells with the mixture, dividing it evenly. Sprinkle with mixture of bread crumbs and grated cheese.
Place in baking dish and bake in moderate oven (375 degrees F) for 30 minutes.
