2 cups beef stock or beef broth
1 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
1/3 cup white onion, diced
4 small mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
directions
Bring the beef stock to a boil over high heat. Add the rice and onion; cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the mushrooms, frozen peas, chili powder and salt. Cover and cook for 5 minutes longer or until rice is tender.
