1 quart beer
4 tablespoons Tabasco sauce

Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.

this was surprisingly good left out the whisky
I love old-timey recipes like this one. My only objection would be to see a whole quart of beer wasted in this fashion. I know people cook with it all the time, but I like drinking it too much to use a whole quart on a recipe! Cheers!

Thanks for good serious recipes , Just remember possum can be prepared like any good fatty pork roast, same seasons. Young possum must be live trapped caged and fed on a grain/cornbread etc. for a few weeks until fat. Save grease from baking to flavor like you would pork grease,'ala' possum grits, biscuits, cornbread. thanks again.
Do people actually eat possum?
