The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

1 cup chilled Champagne
1/2 cup chilled passion fruit juice
directions
Pour 1/2 cup of Champagne into each Champagne flute. Top off each glass with 1/4 cup of passion fruit juice.
Serve the passion fruit mimosas immediately.
