Curry Soup Mix

ingredients
2 cups rice, uncooked
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup dried, minced onion
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
directions
In large bowl, combine all ingredients, stirring until well blended. Store in an airtight container.
To Make Soup: Bring 10 cups water to boil in large stockpot over high heat; add soup mix. Cover and reduce heat to medium.
Stirring occasionally, simmer 20-25 minutes, until rice is tender.
Stir in 2 cups shredded cooked chicken or cooked peeled shrimp; cook until heated through. Serve immediately.
