Seasoning
2 tablespoons instant chicken bouillon
3 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
3 teaspoons dried mixed vegetable flakes
3 teaspoons dried onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Soup
6 cups water
1 cup cooked chicken, optional
1 cup mixed vegetables, optional
4 ounces pine tree-shaped pasta or small elbow macaroni
directions
In small bowl, combine all seasoning ingredients; mix well. Spoon into small plastic bag or container; seal. Place pasta in small plastic bag or container; seal.
To make soup, in a 4 quart saucepan combine seasoning and 6 cups water. Bring to boil over medium heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add pasta, cooked chicken and vegetables if adding. Cook over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes or until pasta is of desired doneness, stir occasionally.
Tip: One cup cubed cooked chicken, turkey and/or vegetables can be added to the soup with the pasta.
