Commercial baby food can contain a lot of unwanted ingredients. Make your own baby food with this easy pureed meat recipe, where you control the ingredients.
1/2 cup cubed, cooked meat (chicken, beef, turkey, pork)
3 tablespoons water, plus more if needed
Combine the cooked meat and water in a food processor. Puree until smooth, adding additional water as needed.
Serve the pureed meat immediately or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The baby food can be gently reheated to room temperature before serving, if desired.
Before making your own baby food you should always check with your child's pediatrician or a pediatric nutritionist to make sure you're giving your baby the proper nutrients.
