5 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups water
2 handfuls mint sprigs
12 lemons
4 oranges
ice
additional water or strong tea
directions
Boil sugar and the water to a thick syrup. Pour over mint sprigs and let stand for 2 hours.
Strain the juice of the lemons and oranges into a half gallon container. Add mint syrup and fill container with water.
To serve, fill a glass 1/4 full of orange mint, add ice and fill with water (or strong tea).
