A few tablespoons of flavored liqueur is the key to this decadent truffle filling. Try making it with creme de menthe, Grand Marnier, or maybe some Amaretto.

12 ounces chocolate
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons flavored liqueur
Process the chocolate until it is chopped into very fine pieces. Heat the cream until it is nearly boiling. Add the chocolate all at once. Stir in the liqueur. Whisk until it is smooth. Let cool.
This is the filling for truffles. Mix this filling, roll into balls and dip in chocolate, roll in nuts or use in other recipes.
