Bowtie (Farfalle) Pasta with Peas

ingredients
1 pound farfalle pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 package (12 ounce size) frozen green peas
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
4 tablespoons butter, chopped
2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Cook the pasta as directed on the package until al dente. Drain well.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the frozen peas. Let cook for 5 minutes.
Slowly add the cream while stirring. Add the butter. Let the cream come to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and cook for 5 minutes. Adjust the seasoning as needed with salt and pepper.
Toss the cream sauce with the pasta and serve sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.

Very very tasty. The creaminess of the dish was perfect and the peas were a nice compliment - but they could be left out if you have picky eaters in your house.
