Braised Pork Ribs With Caramelized Sauce

ingredients
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup red wine vinegar
1 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 tablespoons molasses
4 pounds pork ribs cut into individual ribs
4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
directions
Heat ribs and half of the garlic in a large, heavy pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Let simmer for 1 hour, remove from heat, and drain.
Mix ketchup, vinegar, mustard, remaining chopped garlic, molasses and salt in a small saucepan. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Grill braised ribs for 10 to 12 minutes, turning and brushing with sauce until glazed.
